El Gobierno boliviano oficializó ayer, a través de un decreto, la postergación del Censo Nacional de Población y Vivienda para 2024, pese a las críticas que generó el anuncio en Santa Cruz, la mayor del país, que ha advertido con movilizarse contra el aplazamiento de la consulta.
El presidente Luis Arce, y sus ministros firmaron un decreto que modifica otro, con el fin de que el censo, previsto inicialmente para noviembre próximo, se pueda realizar “entre los meses de mayo y junio de 2024” y que será ejecutado por el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas (INE) de Bolivia, entidad que definirá la fecha.
