El presidente del Senado, Andrónico Rodríguez, reveló este jueves que el presidente Luis Arce promulgará este viernes en la tarde la polémica Ley de Emergencia Sanitaria, en medio de la presión de sectores sociales y gremios de médicos del país.
El asambleísta indicó que todavía la norma está en proceso de socialización. “Tenemos entendido que mañana (viernes) por la tarde se va a promulgar la Ley de Emergencia Sanitaria y esperemos que pueda de inmediato ponerse en vigencia porque es muy necesaria esta ley que requiere nuestro pueblo”, informó a los periodistas.
El miércoles, sectores afines al MAS dieron plazo de 24 horas a Arce para que firme la norma. Y gremios de los médicos rechazan el texto y pidieron que se abra completamente a cambios, después de que la anterior semana el Colegio Médico de Bolivia firmó un acuerdo para tres modificaciones que fueron tomadas en cuenta por el Legislativo; amenazaron con movilizaciones si Arce la promulga.
Rodríguez ve “intereses políticos” para el rechazo a la norma y aclaró que solo estará vigente mientras dure la pandemia del coronavirus. “Apelamos a la conciencia de los médicos, no pueden parar el servicio de salud de ninguna manera, más estando en emergencia sanitaria. Con modificar a lo que ellos quieren, no se soluciona el problema de salud, y esta ley es temporal”.
