Los trámites para lograr la autorización del uso de vidrios polarizados y oscurecidos ingresaron a la última semana en todo el territorio nacional.
El trámite concluye el 31 de diciembre y a partir del 1 de enero de 2023, la Unidad Operativa de Tránsito iniciará los controles y sancionará con Bs 100 a los infractores.
El Secreto Supremo 4740 establece que la circulación de vehículos con vidrios oscurecidos (de fábrica), o polarizados, debe contar con una autorización del Ministerio de Gobierno, y que únicamente podrán acceder a estos vidrios las ambulancias, vehículos de organismos internacionales y todo aquel que cuente con placa diplomática legalmente acreditada.
También están incluidos los vehículos oficiales y particulares del presidente y vicepresidente del Estado, ministros, autoridades legislativas y regionales.
Asimismo, los que tengan vidrios oscuros de fábrica, que tengan orden judicial, que investiguen casos de violencia, y los que son usados para la lucha contra el contrabando, crimen y narcotráfico.
Se trata de una medida preventiva para controlar y reducir la probabilidad de comisión de hechos delictivos en vehículos con vidrios polarizados y oscurecidos.
A partir de este trabajo, el Ministerio de Gobierno contará con una Base de Datos de los propietarios y vehículos que cuenten con la autorización de este tipo de vidrios.
