La Paz, 12 de octubre de 2023.- El presidente Luis Arce celebró este jueves los 100 años de creación de la Fuerza Aérea Boliviana (FAB) e invocó a estar unidos para defender los avances de las transformaciones que tiene el país, frente a intereses externos e internos que buscan afanes divisionistas, para impedir la independencia económica del Estado Plurinacional.
“Hoy más que nunca los bolivianos, las organizaciones populares y las Fuerzas Armadas (FFAA) deben estar más unidos que nunca para defender los avances de las transformaciones que ha tenido el país, como el lograr la plena industrialización e insertarnos en los nuevos escenarios estratégicos hacia un mundo multipolar y la preservación de la integridad”, dijo Arce en un acto desarrollado en la base aérea de El Alto.
Dijo que la situación global y regional demuestra cuán acertada fue la visión de forjar las bases del poder aéreo, desarrollando las capacidades del personal para afrontar amenazas hibridas e irrestrictas del siglo XXI, que buscan afectar la capacidad de preservación de la soberanía e integridad territorial, con la finalidad de controlar los recursos estratégicos como el litio y las tierras raras.
“Los enemigos de la patria buscan enfrentarnos promoviendo afanes divisionistas que buscan balcanizarnos e impedir la independencia económica del Estado Plurinacional”, prosiguió.
El Primer Mandatario anunció que se continuará avanzando en el fortalecimiento de la FAB, para que aporte en el engrandecimiento de la patria y se mantenga firme en el cumplimiento de su deber “al lado de su pueblo humilde y trabajador”, que le apuesta a la democracia como único camino hacia el desarrollo y el bienestar general.
“Hoy más que nunca estamos convencidos que la unidad de un pueblo y un Estado son capaces de enfrentar los grandes desafíos. Como herederos del pensamiento del Mariscal Andrés de Santa Cruz, German Busch, Gualberto Villarroel y de Juan José Torrez estoy seguro que continuarán sentando las bases de la soberanía aérea en todo el territorio nacional, inspirados en el verdadero sentimiento nacional, que es la unidad y de la diversidad”, apuntó Arce.
Aseguró estar convencido de que los mandos y personal de la FAB seguirán contribuyendo en el cumplimiento de los grandes objetivos nacionales, como la defensa de la patria y el bienestar colectivo de los bolivianos hacia el siglo XXI.
Para ello, aseguró, es importante industrializar el país incorporando valor agregado a los recursos estratégicos y fortaleciendo las capacidades aéreas de Bolivia.
“Estos grandes objetivos están íntimamente ligados con el esfuerzo que hoy desarrollamos para construir un mundo multipolar, sin exclusiones ni imposiciones”, subrayó.
