El ministro de Justicia, Iván Lima, anunció que este lunes, en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer, se dará inicio al proceso de debate sobre la base del documento de sistematización de las propuestas para la modificación de la Ley Integral para Garantizar a las Mujeres una Vida Libre de Violencia (348).
“Se lanza el debate y lo previsible es que nos tome al menos tres meses de intenso debate a nivel nacional con todos los sectores, con todos los actores, para construir un anteproyecto y llevarlo a la Asamblea Legislativa y que la Asamblea lo apruebe con la celeridad del caso”, explicó la autoridad, citado en un boletín institucional.
El Ministro recordó que el 25 de noviembre de 2020 inició un proceso participativo con diversas instancias sociales y civiles que trabajan la temática y gracias al cual se recogieron más de mil propuestas para la modificación de la Ley 348.
Las propuestas fueron sistematizadas en un documento denominado Estado de Situación de la Violencia Contra las Mujeres en Bolivia / 2021, el mismo que este lunes será entregado en la Casa Grande del Pueblo, en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer.
“Todas esas propuestas se han sistematizado y se entregará el documento oficial de sistematización y pasamos a una etapa en la que se vuelve a las organizaciones que han hecho las propuestas”, remarcó el titular de Justicia.
Lima comunicó que el común denominador de las propuestas gira en torno a la necesidad de incrementar el presupuesto para la lucha contra todo tipo de violencia hacia las mujeres y que existen otros aspectos que deben ser consensuados nuevamente con la sociedad civil y otras instancias a fin de mejorar el instrumento normativo y operativo.
“Todos proponen mejorar el financiamiento, hacer las medidas de protección más eficaces, hay temas comunes y otros que deben regresar al debate”, subrayó.
De acuerdo con los datos del Ministerio Público, en lo que va del año ya se reportaron 24 feminicidios y 6.332 casos de violencia de género, por lo que el Ministro de Justicia indicó que se debe trabajar incansablemente para cambiar esa realidad.
