Santa Cruz: 250 profesionales de salud reciben la vacuna Sputnik V

El gerente de Epidemiología del Servicio Departamental de Salud (Sedes), Carlos Hurtado, informó que 250 profesionales de salud que trabajan en las Unidades de Terapia Intensiva (UTIs) de los hospitales de tercer nivel de Santa Cruz, recibirán hasta hoy la vacuna contra el COVID-19

Hurtado explicó, en el cronograma de vacunación, que se programó la inoculación de 51 médicos y enfermeras en el hospital “Dr. Óscar Urenda” de Montero, donde hay una gran expectativa. Mañana continuará la actividad en el nosocomio San Juan de Dios.

El viernes 29 de enero, el presidente Luis Arce Catacora inició la campaña de vacunación en el departamento de Santa Cruz con la inmunización de 10 profesionales del hospital Japonés, quienes trabajan en primera línea para enfrentar la segunda ola del COVID-19.

El epidemiólogo señaló, que de acuerdo a un monitoreo, que los médicos que recibieron la vacuna Sputnik V no tuvieron reacciones: “La vacuna Sputnik V no produce ninguna reacción adversa, es la mejor vacuna que estamos colocando porque ni siquiera se necesita una cadena de frío sofisticada y Bolivia es uno de los 13 países donde no se han registrado efectos adversos graves”.
