Santa Cruz, 12 dic (ABI).- Una inspección realizada el sábado por el ministro de Hidrocarburos, Franklin Molina, el presidente de Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), Wilson Zelaya y el director ejecutivo de la Agencia Nacional de Hidrocarburos (ANH), Germán Jiménez, confirmó que existen graves daños en turbinas y algunos equipos electrónicos de la Planta de Amoniaco y Urea (PAU), ubicada en Bulo Bulo, Cochabamba, que paralizó operaciones durante el gobierno de facto provocando cuantiosas pérdidas económicas para el país.
«Lo que hemos visto es algo penoso, nos duele como bolivianos ver lo que ha pasado durante un año, hemos podido ver almacenes vacíos, productos que están apelmazados por una falta del manejo de las condiciones logísticas. Los equipos que se encuentran en este momento dañados van a requerir de un peritaje técnico y por otro lado, de una evaluación financiera», señaló el titular de Hidrocarburos, citado en un boletín de prensa.
Por su parte, Zelaya expresó su preocupación por la paralización de operaciones desde noviembre de 2019, lo que generó cuantiosas pérdidas para el país, no solamente por el lucro cesante de la planta, sino por la paralización de actividades de varios sectores que realizaban trabajos en torno a la producción y comercialización de la urea.
El titular de la estatal comprometió el esfuerzo de YPFB, Casa Matriz, empresas filiales y subsidiarias, para realizar un diagnóstico de la factoría en el menor plazo posible. Para ello se contará con un equipo técnico especializado en el manejo de este tipo de plantas.
«El compromiso es trabajar arduamente para poder terminar, en el menor plazo posible, el diagnóstico de la planta. Tenemos un equipo de especialistas en la parte de proyectos que nos van ayudar a implementar rápidamente todo lo que se planifique en el transcurso de los próximos días», dijo.
En la víspera, las direcciones de transparencia del sector, presentaron una querella contra el exministro de Hidrocarburos, Víctor Hugo Zamora, el expresidente de YPFB, Herland Soliz y un grupo de ejecutivos que los acompañaron, por los delitos de conducta antieconómica e incumplimiento de deberes, tras la paralización de la Planta de Amoniaco y Urea.
Una vez se tenga la evaluación y cuantificación total de los daños, se ejecutará el plan de reactivación.
