La Cámara de Diputados aprobó la firma de un convenio de préstamo por 12 millones de euros ($us 13.190.760) para la ejecución del Programa de Desarrollo del Turismo Cultural y Natural en los departamentos de Cochabamba y Potosí.
El proyecto de Ley 396/2022-2023, que viabiliza la obtención del crédito, fue aprobado la madrugada de este viernes por dos tercios del pleno camaral y en sus estaciones en grande y detalle.
El objetivo de la futura ley es materializar, como un paso decisivo hacia la conservación y promoción de la riqueza y diversidad del patrimonio cultural y natural de las regiones de Cochabamba y Potosí, para el cual se destinará una inversión de $us 13 millones.
“Este esfuerzo conjunto también busca fortalecer la identidad local, aumentar el flujo turístico y la estadía del visitante”, señala un reporte de prensa.
A su vez, contribuirá en la reducción de los índices de pobreza y mejorará las condiciones de vida en las poblaciones de Totora, Cliza, Tarata, Arani, Anzaldo, Toro Toro, entre otros, a través del desarrollo de iniciativas locales.
Los recursos provendrán de un financiamiento externo de la Cooperación Italiana; los organismos financiadores son Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SPA-CDP, a un plazo de 20 años, con 0% de tasa de interés.
El acuerdo fue suscrito por el Ministerio de Planificación y será ejecutado por el Ministerio de Desarrollo Productivo y Economía Plural.
