El número de postulantes al cargo de Defensor del Pueblo se duplicó este martes, en la décima segunda jornada de inscripción que lleva adelante la Comisión Mixta de Constitución de la Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional (ALP) en la ciudad de La Paz, en el marco de la convocatoria y reglamentación establecida.
Según el reporte de la Cámara de Senadores, esta jornada ocho ciudadanos más presentaron sus documentos con los 18 requisitos que exige la convocatoria. En total, ya son 17 los aspirantes a ese cargo público.
“#Ultimo Día 12 de la fase de inscripciones. Reporte de los postulantes al defensor o defensora del pueblo, hoy se registraron ocho nuevos postulantes. Hasta la fecha son diecisiete inscritos”, escribió esa instancia legislativa en sus redes sociales.
Se trata de los abogados Ramiro Carrillo Aruquipa (56), Hugo González Atora (70) y Jorge Erick Morón Urquiola (50); además del comunicador social y cientista en educación Facundo Espejo Quispe (48), y el antropólogo Santiago Condori Apaza (66).
Así también, el educador Dámaso Quispe Callisaya, la estudiante de la carrera de Derecho, Guadalupe Daza Capo (37) y Alejandro Alpire Alpire, el último que envió su postulación vía currier.
Hasta la fecha, en la lista de inscritos figuran cuatro mujeres y 13 varones.
Las inscripciones cierran el 1 de abril a las 18.00 y la lista de postulantes habilitados se publicará el 10 de ese mismo mes.
El Defensor del Pueblo ejerce funciones por un periodo de seis años, sin posibilidad a una segunda designación.
