La Paz, 5 ene (ABI).- Tras sostener una reunión con gobernadores de los nueve departamentos y representantes de las asociaciones municipales, el presidente Luis Arce informó este martes que los Gobiernos subnacionales cuentan con un presupuesto de más de Bs 274 millones para la contratación de personal sanitario que refuerce la lucha contra el COVID-19. Indicó que se analizará el caso de cada departamento para tomar acciones a la brevedad.
«Los gobiernos subnacionales cuentan con más de Bs274 millones para la contratación inmediata de personal sanitario. Convocamos a los equipos técnicos de gobernaciones y municipios para analizar el presupuesto de cada departamento y no dilatar la atención a la población», señaló a través de su cuenta de Twitter.
En el encuentro que se llevó a cabo en la Casa Grande del Pueblo, el Jefe de Estado convocó para este jueves a los equipos técnico-económicos de las nueve gobernaciones a una reunión en La Paz con el ministro de Economía, Marcelo Montenegro, con el objetivo establecer los montos y disponibilidad de la utilización de recursos para la contratación de personal en salud para la lucha contra el COVID-19, según informó la noche del lunes el vocero presidencial, Jorge Richter.
«Siguiendo los lineamientos para enfrentar la pandemia, en reunión con gobernadores y alcaldes, presentamos en el marco del Plan Estratégico de lucha contra el Covid-19, las acciones y mecanismos que nos permitirán identificar casos positivos para atenderlos y contener el virus», acotó mediante la red social.
El Ministerio de Salud informó este lunes que la población de La Paz y El Alto dispondrá de 10 centros de toma de muestra para el test del COVID-19, con el objetivo de detectar y brindar atención médica temprana a los enfermos. Se prevé replicar estas acciones en los otros departamentos en coordinación con las autoridades locales.
