Acompañados de sus autoridades, empresarios bolivianos y chilenos se reunieron para fortalecer las relaciones comerciales entre ambos países en el II Encuentro del Consejo Empresarial Binacional, que se llevó a cabo el lunes en Santiago, Chile.
De parte de Bolivia, en el encuentro participaron empresarios y representantes de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio (CNC), además del viceministro de Comercio Exterior e Integración, Benjamín Blanco, quien presentó una exposición de forma telemática.
“II Encuentro Empresarial del Consejo Empresarial Binacional Delegación de empresarios bolivianos y chilenos se reúnen para abordar temas de fortalecimiento de las relaciones comerciales e inversiones entre ambos países”, informó la CNC, mediante su cuenta en Facebook.
Según el reporte de la CNC, el presidente de esta institución boliviana, Mario Paredes Vargas, se reunió con la ministra de Relaciones Exteriores de Chile, Antonia Urrejola, para plantear desafíos del fortalecimiento de las relaciones comerciales entre ambos países.
De acuerdo con el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Chile, en la inauguración del Encuentro, la titular de esta cartera afirmó que para avanzar en lo económico, comercial y social “es imprescindible profundizar el conocimiento real y las convergencias entre dos países hermanos, como lo son Bolivia y Chile”.
“Para Chile, el seguir estrechando nuestros lazos bilaterales con Bolivia es una de nuestras prioridades. Por ello, observamos con gran satisfacción y esperanza instancias como este Consejo Empresarial, que nos demuestra el genuino interés de nuestros actores empresariales en seguir profundizando sus vínculos y labor conjunta”, puntualizó.
Mencionó que a través de este tipo de encuentro se construyan alianzas que permitan incrementar los vínculos económicos y comerciales, para dar mayor densidad y apoyo al crecimiento económico en ambos países.
“Estoy convencida que este segundo encuentro del Consejo Empresarial Binacional cumplirá con su propósito de seguir avanzando en la integración entre Chile y Bolivia, y que estos esfuerzos nos permitirán seguir afianzando una relación de amistad, confianza y cercanía entre dos pueblos hermanos”, enfatizó la autoridad chilena.
El Encuentro concluyó con la lectura de una Declaración Conjunta por parte del secretario General del Consejo Capítulo Boliviano, Gustavo Jáuregui Gonzáles, de acuerdo con los datos de la CNC.
