A un mes del gobierno del Presidente Luis Arce Catacora, el Viceministerio de Lucha Contra el Contrabando entregó este miércoles a la Aduana Nacional de Bolivia, 485 vehículos y 570 toneladas de mercadería de contrabando incautados en diferentes operativos en la frontera con Chile y Perú.
El Primer Mandatario fue el encargado de la entrega simbólica de 247 motorizados a la Presidente de la Aduana Nacional, Karina Serrudo, en un acto realizado en instalaciones del Batallón de Ingeniería Heroínas Rabonas en la ciudad de Oruro.
En su discurso, el Jefe de Estado destacó el trabajo de las Fuerzas Armadas y el Viceministerio en la lucha contra el contrabando, que a un poco más de un mes de gobierno, demostró resultados favorables para recuperar la economía del país.
Al mismo tiempo, lamentó que la actividad ilícita haya involucrado a muchas familias bolivianas, varias de ellas localizadas en los diferentes puntos fronterizos del país.
«Sin querer los bolivianos estamos matando nuestra propia generación de empleo , porque en el momento en que consumimos productos importados estamos dando empleo a quienes producen en esos países y estamos quitando empleo a las familias bolivianas. Por eso en nuestro programa de gobierno planteamos que la manera más rápida de salir del problema económico que nos dejó el gobierno de facto, es producir sustitutos de importación, es decir materia prima», manifestó la autoridad de Estado.
Por su parte, el Viceministro de Lucha Contra el Contrabando, Cnl. Gonzalo Rodríguez, enfatizó en los resultados alcanzados en los operativos de control, cuyas cifras de incautacion en un mes de trabajo, tras haber asumido esa cartera de Estado, superan en un 60 por ciento con relación a lo conseguido en 11 meses por el gobierno transitorio, que solo incautaron 618 vehículos e incineraron 153.
La autoridad asimismo pidió a las instituciones estatales responsables de la lucha contra el contrabando, trabajar unidos para apoyar a la Aduana Nacional, debido a que esa instancia es la responsable de hacer los comisos, la valoración económica y fortalecer al Estado.
*Datos de incautación
El Viceministerio Rodríguez detalló que son 485 vehículos incautados, entre camiones grandes, medianos y vehículos pequeños, de los cuales, 247 fueron entregados hoy en acto oficial, 62 fueron incinerados, 67 permanecen en los grupos de tarea en frontera y 109 fueron entregados con anterioridad a la Aduana Nacional.
Por otra parte, indicó que son un total de 570 toneladas de productos perecederos incautados en dos semanas en la frontera con Perú, de los cuales 550 corresponden a artículos de sanidad vegetal y 20 a inocuidad alimentaria.
Mientras que de los operativos realizados en la frontera con Argentina, 91 toneladas de diferentes artículos fueron entregados a la Aduana la anterior semana en Tupiza.
