El ministro de Obras Públicas, Édgar Montaño, informó este viernes que se invertirá más de Bs 100 millones para la construcción y mejoramiento de aeropuertos en el país, con la finalidad de optimizar los servicios a los pasajeros nacionales e internacionales.
En una rueda de prensa, en su despacho en la ciudad de La Paz, Montaño informó que se invertirá Bs 25 millones en 12 licitaciones para la segunda fase de la construcción del aeropuerto de Rurrenabaque, en el departamento de Beni.
“Estamos mostrando inversión correcta, oportuna, para impulsar la industria sin chimenea (…). Por lo tanto, el día de hoy les hago la invitación a los hermanos constructores, a los especialistas, en lo que se refiere construcción de aeropuertos”, dijo.
El ministro añadió que eso no es todo, a partir de septiembre del presente año, también se inyectará más de Bs 75 millones para el mejoramiento de todos los aeropuertos que operan en Bolivia.
“Son noticias buenas y alentadoras (…), todos los aeropuertos van a ser beneficiados con recursos económicos en el mejoramiento de la atención y obviamente en el mejoramiento de los sistemas de alerta que tienen que tener cada uno de los aeropuertos”, señaló.
Montaño anunció también que, con la finalidad de brindarle más confort a los pasajeros y evitar filas, ahora se cobrará directamente en el ticket del pasaje, el uso de los aeropuertos de Cobija, Trinidad y Alcantarí.
Asimismo, se inyectará más de Bs 400.000 para mejorar la estética del Aeropuerto Internacional de El Alto; es decir la pintura, las alfombras, los muebles, los asientos, los baños, entre otros ambientes de esta terminal aérea, acotó.
