Viceministra de Comunicación resalta la recuperación del derecho a la educación

La viceministra de Comunicación, Gabriela Alcón, resaltó este martes la recuperación del derecho a la educación en Bolivia, que se consolidó con el retorno a las clases presenciales gracias a una intensa campaña de vacunación masiva contra el COVID-19.

La autoridad realizó esa afirmación luego de compartir un agasajo junto a niñas y niños en La Paz, evento organizado por el canal estatal Bolivia TV en el marco de las actividades por el Día del Niño que se conmemora esta jornada.

“Sin duda alguna, el derecho a la educación es importante y ha sido arrebatado durante el golpe (de Estado) y lo primero que hemos hecho es devolver este derecho”, dijo Alcón.

La autoridad destacó también que debido a las políticas públicas ejecutadas por el gobierno del presidente Luis Arce se logró reducir la deserción escolar de 2,6% en 2019 a 2,1% en 2021.

Por otra parte, la autoridad manifestó su satisfacción por ver la alegría y algarabía de los niños tras el retorno a las clases presenciales.

“Es lindo compartir con nuestros niños y niñas, y hay que tomar en cuenta que son nuestro presente y futuro, y es responsabilidad de todos dar las garantías y cuidar a nuestros niños. Me dio mucho gusto que estén acá”, manifestó.

Esta jornada, varias autoridades del Estado participaron en diferentes actividades para celebrar el Día del Niño, instituido el 11 de abril de 1955, durante la presidencia de Víctor Paz Estensoro.
