Exministra de Salud: ‘No queda más que el auto confinamiento masivo’

La exministra de Salud, Eidy Roca, planteó que la población asuma un “auto confinamiento masivo” para enfrentar a la segunda ola de la COVID-19 que, en su criterio, conlleva un virus fulminante.

“No queda más que el auto confinamiento masivo. Se nos muere la gente, se nos mueren los médicos de manera espantosa. El comportamiento del virus es más agresivo, cambian los síntomas, es fulminante. Necesitamos medidas drásticas.

Ya no es por la salud, es por la VIDA”, publicó Roca en su cuenta de Twitter.

La exministra realizo su propuesta en un momento en que varios gremios médicos han pedido aplicar una cuarentena rígida para contener el virus, pero el Gobierno descarta el confinamiento.

Roca señaló que de sólo aplicar una vigilancia epidemiológica activa, es decir visita casa por casa) bajarían los decesos aunque aumenten los casos.

Sin embargo, explicó que con cuarentena rígida y vigilancia activa se cortaría la cadena de contagios, haciendo menor la cantidad de casos críticos y decesos, además de dar tregua al personal de salud.
