Con una ofrenda a la Pachamama, el vicepresidente del Estado, David Choquehuanca, inauguró este lunes el primer “Macro Emapa” en el mercado Campesino, ubicado en la zona Villa Tunari de la ciudad de El Alto.
Tras la inauguración, el gerente de la Empresa de Apoyo a la Producción de Alimentos (Emapa), Franklin Flores, informó que se trata del primer macro mercado de esta compañía estatal en la urbe alteña, para comercializar variedad de productos hechos en Bolivia, a precio y peso justo.
En el lugar, también se distribuirán productos, principalmente de las micro y pequeñas empresas, que transforman materias primas como cañahua, quinua, café, mieles, entre otros productos con valor agregado, explicó.
“También, los compañeros de las diferentes 20 provincias de La Paz podrán distribuir desde este supermercado sus productos frescos, en cuanto a frutas, verduras, hortalizas y otros”, añadió Flores.
Señaló que la población de El Alto también contará con el segundo “Macro Emapa” en el mercado Campesino de la zona Santa Rosa, donde también se comercializará producción 100% boliviana.
Ambos supermercados cuentan con ambientes amplios donde la población puede adquirir abarrotes (arroz, harina, azúcar, fideo), productos de higiene, conservas, jugos, lácteos, entre otros alimentos de industria nacional, según datos de Emapa.
