Cobija, Pando, 28 de agosto de 2023. – El Gobierno Nacional de Bolivia reafirma su compromiso con la salud pública al entregar 15 toneladas de medicamentos e insumos destinados a fortalecer los servicios de salud en los 15 municipios del departamento de Pando. La entrega fue anunciada por la Viceministra de Seguros de Salud y Gestión del Sistema Único de Salud (SUS), Alejandra Hidalgo.
Esta significativa donación, con una inversión de 6.242.000 bolivianos, incluye una variedad de medicamentos esenciales, así como insumos de bioseguridad. Estos recursos, cruciales para el funcionamiento de los centros de salud, proporcionarán un apoyo fundamental a los municipios de Pando en el cumplimiento de sus Planes Operativos Anuales (POA).
Los alcaldes de los 15 municipios de Pando, junto con representantes de los centros de salud locales, recibieron esta importante contribución que está destinada a beneficiar a la población a través del Sistema Único de Salud (SUS), garantizando el acceso gratuito a servicios médicos y medicamentos.
La Viceministra Hidalgo enfatizó la importancia de que los municipios asignen el 15,5% de su presupuesto anual a los centros de salud y hospitales de primer nivel. Este financiamiento es esencial para garantizar la disponibilidad de medicamentos y atención médica oportuna para quienes la necesiten.
Hidalgo también recordó el compromiso del SUS de proporcionar atención médica gratuita a todos los bolivianos, independientemente de su edad o género, y alentó a que cualquier cirugía requerida se realice a través de este sistema, asegurando así que la atención médica sea accesible para todos.
Además, la Viceministra instó a los municipios a registrar la entrega de medicamentos en sus sistemas informáticos para facilitar el seguimiento y la gestión adecuada de estos recursos en beneficio de la salud pública.
Esta iniciativa refleja el firme compromiso del Gobierno boliviano de mejorar el acceso a la atención médica y garantizar que los ciudadanos tengan acceso a los medicamentos y servicios necesarios para mantener su salud y bienestar.
